This means:

Optimal care
If you want your jewelry to look fresh for as long as possible, here's the dream scenario for jewelry care:
1. Avoid water when you can
Water is not your jewelry's best friend.
Optimally speaking:
- Remove jewelry before bathing, washing hands, and taking a bath.
- Avoid swimming (especially pools, spas, and the ocean)
- Avoid steam and prolonged moisture
Do you forget it every now and then? There's nothing wrong with that.
Is it better to avoid water for the long term? Yes.
2. Keep them away from chemicals
Perfume, hairspray, creams and cleaning products can wear away the gold plating over time.
Pro tip:
- Put on your jewelry after you get ready for the day.
- Remove them before cleaning.
Again: once doesn't hurt anything. Repetition does.
3. Keep them dry and separate
When you are not wearing the jewelry:
- Keep them dry.
- Use the original bag or a jewelry box
- Keep them separate so they don't scratch each other. All in one messy pile = scratches on the way.
4. Take them off during high-impact activities
Training, heavy lifting and wild movements = iconic, but not optimal for jewelry.
